There will be the usual Pub Crawl on Thursday night as we experience the Mardi Gras excitement of Bourbon Street West, otherwise known as Pine Avenue. Unique to this event is the fact that the bars are all within walking distance of the hotel. For $35 there will be dinner, speciality drinks and dancing music.

Of course the convention would not be complete without the highly anticipated Golf Tournament. Located among beautiful rolling hills, Recreation Park was constructed as a private club in 1917 but was opened to the public in 1931. The golf format is Scramble with an 8 AM Shotgun Start. Team selection will be by blind draw with a mixture of celebrities, resort representatives and Far West members. The price of $85 includes golf, range balls, cart and a fabulous lunch with lots of great prizes. The sign-up flyer is now available on the web site.
